Nick, Emmy and I would like to wish you all a very, very Merry Christmas!! We hope that you are enjoying this special day surrounded by loved ones!
Today has been much like the last number of days have been: falling asleep in the wee hours of the morning, squeezing in a couple of feedings and then getting up for good around eleven o'clock :-p. We opened presents, watched "A Christmas Story" and devoured breakfast at around three...We could, however, have done without Darla munching on a few pieces of gum with an ingredient, Xylitol, that is very toxic to dogs. Needless to say, as I was feeding our daughter (which has become a rather uncomfortable task lately :-/), Nick was sitting on the floor inducing vomitus from Darla after phone consultation from both our Vet and the ASPCA...Never, ever a dull moment....Now, I need to start thinking of what to make for our Christmas dinner :-P...Flexability is my new mantra!

Merry Christmas Horn trio!!!! I love the Christmas card attempts! The pacifier pic is so cute-her eyes are beautiful!!!!
ReplyDeleteWow!! She is already looking way more grown up since the other day, eyes open and what a cutie
ReplyDeleteI didn't get up until noon until Asher was like 3 months old, maybe longer.
ReplyDeleteSorry nursing stinks. Yes, it was horrible. I had one too many anxiety attacks and felt like it would never work out. Good job doing the pumping. That was miserable for me, so I am glad at least that is working out.
I am so glad your baby is sleeping!!!! Usually babies are fussy/colicky starting from 2 weeks until 6 weeks, so if she's not very fussy now, then you are LUCKY! YAY!!!!!!!!!!
You guys deserve the best and the most peaceful baby, especially since you won't have Nick there. I wish you all the best and lots of strength and good sleep.
If you ever feel you are going insane, psycho, or think your baby is nuts, you can totally e-mail. Again, congrats!
