We had been counting down to Tuesday, September 3rd all summer anticipating the first day of school! The days leading up, we finished our final preparations by shopping for special treats for their lunch boxes and picking out their first day ensembles at Target. The morning of, Emmy requested some fresh paint on her fingers and toes and some curls in her hair. I managed to come through between contractions. :-P
Daddy surprised us all at school, he'd had a very early morning of classes and snuck out of work just long enough to walk the girls to their respective classrooms. :) Speaking of classrooms, we learned when we got to school that Sissy is the token female student in her class! There is no question that she can handle the five boys that she plays with.
Emmy had a fantastic day in the three year old class, and was thrilled that her bestie, Lauren, was there! It's going to be a great year, I can already tell!
