Emmy Being Emmy

My Uncle Kevin sent a delicious candy package to help us celebrate his favorite holiday, Halloween!  As soon as Emmy laid eyes on the the abundance of treats, she crafted a "covert" operation to claim them all for herself.  Her plan was flawed in that she worked in the most central part of our home.  Equipped with her father's negotiating skills, she was prepared for my interrogation:

"I eat the candy.  That makes Uncle Kevin happy."

Touché Emmy Horn, touché.

She worked under the guise that she was "counting" the candies.  Predictably, there were far fewer when she was done.

Emmy has a poor track record of eating her dinner, let alone remaining at the table.  We will take her any way we can get her.  One night, she was adamant that she eat her meal from her rocking chair...
