Indy Fun

Kris and I have been trying to schedule a visit for some time now and it finally came to fruition last week!  With both Nick and JP busy with work, Kris and I were left to wrangle the five kids and three poodles on our own.  Pretty sure we can do anything now.  Being that our children, both human and canine, consider themselves siblings, we were all right at home from the moment we arrived.  With a five month gap in photos of the kiddos together, I was bound and determined to make up for it and was camera ready whenever possible:
Emmy figured out she can escape the confines of her pack n play within about 15 minutes of being put in it on the first night.  Playing with Clairey was her motivation.  We made our second attempt at a sleepover, and it came to an end around 10 o'clock when Emmy asked me through the door to go back to her "bed." Kris and I got a good laugh out of their conversation which consisted of lots of telling each other to be quiet and go to sleep.
We played lots of soccer in the backyard.  I'm trying to help my girl understand that we kick the ball, not carry it.

Playing dress-up in the hall closet.

Helping Andy collect the garbage on Wednesday, trash day.  Andy's favorite day of the week.

Riding bikes outside!  This is the first time that they are all able to ride!

Beautiful Clairey

Handsome Andy

Taking a break to watch Caillou on my computer...Emmy was eager to share her obsession.

Man I love this baby.  It's not hard to get lost in those eyes.

Hannah being inducted into the girls' club.

Feeding their babies.  We have a couple of natural mommys on our hands.
Fancy shoes.  Clairey has six pairs.

What I get when I ask them to smile.  Great minds think alike.  I love this photo. :)

Auntie Kristi reading to the troops!

Sweet Jacob was plagued with a bug for most of the trip. :(

Hannah's catching up!

Babies unite!

Emmy taunting Clairey.  Nothing new.

Clairey's onto her...

She swoops in...

...And she's off!!

BFFs.  They spend a lot of time giggling. :)

Chick-Fil-A picnic!  Kids are happy and no work for Mamas.  Everybody wins!

Taking over the swings.  Each of them needed a push, so, with Hannah secured in the Ergo, I ran back and forth pushing them all one by one only to turn around and do it again.  The more the merrier!

Emmy's the rotten egg!

One of many attempts to get a picture of the five of them.

Perpetual Motion.

The best one on my camera.  Sorry Clairey!

Kris and Clairey making bread.

Andy showing Hannah how the jumperoo works

I might need to invest...

Playing hard in the baby pool!

Jacob's first time!

Hannah's, too!

Hannah and Uncle JP getting to know one another.  She adores him already, just like her big sis. :)

Four and counting in the tub...The aftermath of the shampoo mohawk competition.

Jammie race!!

After Emmy finished (and won) she took off running down the hall.  Not really sure why...Victory lap, maybe?

Emmy insisted on reading the bedtime story.  Turns out that's the only way she will participate.

Yummy rainbow waffles for breakfast!  They all cleared their plates!

Early morning soccer game before we headed home.

Auntie Kristi and the girls gang up on Andy.

We had so much fun, we are bringing Daddy back with us this coming weekend!  Counting down the days!  Thank goodness there aren't many!
