| In third grade, the kids chose the name of a classmate and were tasked with creating a box for them with thoughtful gifts and kind words as a token of encouragement. One of the things in the box was a homemade gift. Emmy found out her person's favorite color and knit her a scarf. Emmy liked it so much that she knit a second one for herself. I loved this assignment so much, almost as much as Emmy's giving heart. |
