| The kids and I parked in a gravel lot just outside of the compound where Nick works to watch a fly-over for a ceremony that my children had no business attending. All was fun and games until someone decided to draw on the car with a rock. We learned the hard way that it lasts way longer than pictures you draw with your finger. Needless to say, the car ride home was silent. |

The kids and I went to pick strawberries at a nearby patch. It was very muddy after a rainy week, and so the kids found way more enjoyment watching the cows.
