Six Months Old!

JuJu
Weight: 12.13 pounds (2nd%ile) Height: 24 inches* (0%ile) Head Circumference: 41.5cm (20th%ile)
*- I think Juju's height might be a little off because her neck was a little bent when the nurse was taking the measurement.  Oh well!
She is little, but it's no cause for concern, because she is growing proportionately.  It's crazy how differently the babies metabolize their feedings considering the difference of their intake is marginal.  One of the many, many differences that I find to be so intriguing watching these two grow and develop.  Julia is rolling over from belly to back with ease and is working on sitting up, although she isn't there yet.  She loves to tinker around with the toys on the jumperoo or the play mat.  She chews on whatever she can, which tells me that teeth are on the way!  Juju is a little chatterbox and has quite a range to her noises.  She is waking up twice a night still for a feeding, and, given her size, we always indulge her.  No crying it out yet until little miss fills out a bit more!  As much as I am a walking zombie from the sleep deprivation, I do cherish my private cuddle time with my Juj.  Also, on the flat-spot head front, their pediatrician isn't worried about them!  Given that they have the capacity to move around now, minimizing the time that they are flat on their backs, their heads will continue to round out on their own!  Praise the Lord!!!!

Her silly face!  She'll usually make this face and then start squawking. :)

Jamesy Boy
Weight: 17.6 pounds (40th%ile) Height: 26 inches (15%ile) Head Circumference: 43.25 cm (36th%ile)
Jamesy is a big boy-and loves to be reminded of that!  He is rolling over easily now from belly to back, and can shimy his way around on the floor (so can Juju.)  He is a STRONG baby; his is noticeably more physical than Juju in his play and has been for awhile now.  His core strength is very strong as are his legs, and he stands well in his jumperoo (sweet Juju's feet barely touch the floor.)  He also loves to tinker with his toys and has great stamina for playtime.  He very carefully inspects his toys with his hands.  He is very, very grabby and seems committed to plucking each one of my hair follicles out of my scalp.  Good thing he's cute! He, too, is chewing on anything and everything, and producing copious amounts of drool.  I anticipate teeth in the not-too-far-off future!  (Hopefully before Daddy deploys in June, two teething babies and no Mom's Day Out for five weeks might be the end of me!) My boy sleeps well through the night from 730PM to 630AM, and has for the last few months.  God bless that child!!  How he sleeps through Juju's screaming is beyond me, but it must have something to do with the Horn male genes. ;)  Each time I focus in on my boy he lights up and starts giggling (Juju starts cooing,) I am thrilled to know that his sense of humor is already developing!

This is his silly face.  He usually dissolves into giggles after he make it.
