Emmy's 4!!!

Our Emmy is 4!  She had such a special day spent doing so many things that she loves the most...A tea party for breakfast, wearing her brand new beautiful dress from Mimi and Papa, lunch date with her besties at Chick-Fil-A, watching the latest movie in our collection, The Little Mermaid, phone calls and Skype dates throughout the day, PRESENTS (she waited patiently all day for Daddy to come home!), roses from Daddy and chocolate cake for dessert!  Whew!  What a day!

I don't have official growth stats from a well-check (we got off schedule last year and apparently those appointments must be one year plus one day after the previous one?) so those are forth-coming. Our biggest girl has morphed into quite the little lady, though.  She is such a chatterbox, that I believe a scientific study could show that women use more words than men in a day, and Emmy uses more words than both combined.  I have greater empathy for men now listening to women gab all day!  Emmy's capacity for verbal expression has given us such a special look into all that matters to her, that I took advantage of it by asking her these questions to mark her 4th birthday!

1. How old are you?  "I'm four."

2. Who are your best friends?  "The new girl at school."

3. What is your favorite thing to do? "Wrap presents for Hannah for her birthday."

4. What is your favorite color? "Pink and purple."

5. What is your favorite food? "Saghetti."

6. What do you like to do with your family? "Um, I like to go to Kids N Play."

7. What is your favorite toy? "Um.  My barbies."

8. What do you want to be when you grow up? "A police officer, with a whistle."

9. What makes you happy? "Um, Mama and Dada."

10. What makes you sad? "No." "Nothing makes you sad?" "No."

11. What is your favorite show to watch? "Um. I'm not sure."

12. What is your favorite book? "Um. I'm not sure."

13. What do you love to learn about? "Dragonflies."

14. What was the best part of your birthday?  "Getting my presents when Daddy came home.  That's a lot of fun."

15. Where do you like to go? "Um. Kids N Play!"

16. Who are your teachers? "Ms. Kathleen and Ms. Christy.  Ms. Kathleen has a K in her name."

17. What is your favorite treat? "Fruit snacks"

18. What do you think about before you go to sleep? "Princesses."

19. What is your favorite animal?  "Elephant."

20. Who is your favorite singer? "Clairey!"
