Hannah is ONE!

On January 12, we celebrated our sweet Hannah's first birthday!  The goal of the day was to do (or eat) all of Hannah's favorites!  Progressively, throughout the day, I believe she started catching on that something special was going on, judging by the increasing wattage of her smiles!  Her day in pictures:

Sissy woke up to a whole bunch of balloons to play in (I learned from my mistake on Emmy's birthday, and these were positioned downstairs in the living room rather than in her bedroom.)  She loves to crawl around and chase them. :)

So happy!

Since Sissy loves carbs, and raisins, I made cinnamon rolls for breakfast.  She devoured her whole roll (after playing with it on her head and pretending it was a phone first.)

Frosting in the hair called for an early bathtime!  Here she was standing on her own while Nick dried her off!

Wearing her fancy new tutu outfit from Mimi!

After Hannah's very long morning nap and Nick and Emmy returned from Emmy's $5 birthday gift shopping spree, we went to Chick-Fil-A for lunch!

Playing on the slide with Emmy!

Sitting in front of her presents before Emmy tore into them!

Waiting for her cupcake at the Sweetest Batch!

Elmo pizza for dinner!  It look so much more like Elmo before it was cooked and his eyeballs melted.

We fired up our laptops and phones so that Hannah could be serenaded by Grammy, Poppy, Mimi, Auntie Kristi, Clairey, Jacob, Uncle Ben & Uncle Grant via Skype, Facetime & conference call.  It was AWESOME!!! A virtual birthday party minus all the prep and clean-up!! She loved it, and so did we!  So grateful that everyone was available!  We are so blessed that our little girls have such a loving family. :)
