Emmy had been so excited to share her hair with children who are sick and don't have hair for the better part of the last 9 months since she and I first made a pact that we would do it together. We needed her hair to grow to a certain length to have the minimum 8 inches to donate and still have enough left to keep Daddy from having a coronary, and it took about 6 months longer than we had originally had thought. She was so patient in achieving her goal, and finally, on January 19th, we were ready! So proud of our girl!!
