Knitting Circle

One of Mom's dreams for retirement was to have a knitting circle.  She made an amazing spread of treats and we each brought a craft project to work on while we spent time together.

Celebrating Dad's Senior Citizenship with Go-Kart Racing

 Dad knew exactly how he wanted to celebrate his 65th birthday: a go-kart race at K1 Speed in Dublin.  We had such a great time!

Mimi Retires!

After 30+ years teaching Kindergarten at Ruus Elementary, Kindergarten at Palomares Elementary, Kindergarten and 1st grade at Jensen Ranch, and a year as a Reading Specialist at Castro Valley Elementary, Mom finally retired!  We met her outside her classroom for her final bell.  What an accomplishment! So many children have been blessed by her dedication over the years!
