Molly's 13th Birthday & Swimming

Our sweet Molly turned 13 this June.  Turns out she was actually born on June 10th, not June 9th as we've been celebrating all these years. Thankfully, so long as there are treats, she's ok with it.  This summer, we were so blessed to have two grandparents' houses with pools since all community pools were closed.  We loved our pool parties.

Bacon eggs!  Her favorite!

Wrapping Up the School Year & Kindergarten "Graduation"

A special "Drive Through" Kindergarten graduation celebration.:)  The kiddos got treat bags and special "graduation" signs to put in our yard.  They felt so special.

Emmy's class did a drive-by "Thank You" parade for their beloved teacher Mrs. Lucht.  We met in the parking lot at the Danville Bowl and caravanned to her neighborhood.  The kids were SO EXCITED to see each other from their respective cars, it had been months since they saw each other in person.  Mrs. Lucht had no idea we were coming and was so happy to see the long line of decorated cars with her kiddos standing out of the sun roofs...I was choking back tears as we drove past her house blaring their class theme song appropriately called "Brave."

Hannah wrapping up 2nd grade!

Mrs. Lucht had a surprise for her students!  As soon as they signed off of zoom on the last day, she got in the car and visited each of her students' homes!  Oh what a gift it was!  Emmy was so surprised!

Mrs. Lucht came bearing gifts!

Hannah's amazing teacher Mrs. Patterson paid her a visit shortly after Mrs. Lucht left!  She even came in the backyard to see our tricks on the playset!  We are so blessed!

James poking his head out of the sunroof for his teacher, Mrs. Larson's birthday car parade!

We love our teachers!

Julia wanted to make a mask for her teacher Mrs. Toss and we stopped at her house to drop it off.  It was so amazing to see her (and her sweet doggie Dukey) in real life and not just on the computer screen!
