Sacksteder Visit!

The Sacksteders came to visit over Memorial Day Weekend!  So grateful...

Kris playing peak-a-boo with the twins. :)

This was hilarious...Nick hadn't finished putting up the tent before the kids started "moving in." Andy, Clairey, Emmy, Hannah and Jacob ransacked the house gathering their blankets, pillows and lovies in an excited frenzy and then waited patiently while Nick finished erecting the tent.

Ready to move in!

Everyone but Hannah fell asleep easily, so she got to spend the night in her crib.  She was cool with it so long as she could keep her glow stick on her dresser.

JP was up with Jacob super early.  Jacob went back to sleep inside, but JP got some quiet time by the fire. :)

Sleepy kiddos.

Andy emerges from his very first campout!

Jacob dressing for the day.

Jamesy Boy gets his first haircut!  Kris is a pro!

Long overdue picture of all of them together.
Julia (8 months), Clairey (almost 5!) Andy, 6 1/2. Emmy 4 1/2, Jamesy (8 months), Hannah (2 1/2) and Jacob (2 1/2)

Mother's Day

Mother's Day this year, I decided I wanted pictures with each of the kids.  Our incredibly kind and well-meaning neighbor wanted to surprise us by cutting down a very large dead tree at our fence line while we were at church.  Unfortunately, part of it fell and damaged the fence.   Long story short, Daddy was preoccupied helping clear out debris, so I decided on bathroom mirror selfies...

May Madness

Emmy asked me to paint her nails and do her hair because she wanted to be beautiful for Daddy when he came home from a work trip. :)

Daddy's ambitious to try to rest with all these monkeys climbing on him. :-P

Practicing "Let It Go" for the 500th time.

Jamesy barrel rolls all over the place.

Pouting.

Jamesy dove into a piece of cake.

Julia holding her bottle!!!

Nick's formal. :)

The eve of my birthday, Nick took the girls out to buy me presents...They were so cute with dresses on, hair up and purses. :)  Nick told me that, when they were at one store, a saleswoman came up to Hannah and said "Well aren't you cute!" and she promptly hooked her fingers into the sides of her mouth and made her "silly face."  Still working on her socialization.
