Fall Fun!

Jude's 2nd birthday at Gilroy Garden's!  What a find!  This place is amazing...totally geared toward children out our age group, with a zoo, and lots of age-appropriate rides.  We stayed hours longer than we planned to!

The kids loved this "drop zone"-esque ride.  There was no line so they kept running back to the front as soon as they finished.  Even James!  Sweet Juj didn't make the height cut-off. She was hugely disappointed by this. :-/

Singing Happy Birthday to Jude!

Like her sisters, Julia packs heavy.

The Diwali party!  The Indian crew planned an amazing party celebrating Diwali complete with Indian food and choreographed dances...They even included the little girls, who learned an performed it in front of everyone!  Our girls blew me away with how well they did!  Luckily, we got the music, so the girls love to break it out at parties now!
Claire and Emmy with their matching gaps!  They lost their first teeth just a few days apart!

Playdate at Untie Kristi's house...Julia takes her carrots and ranch very seriously.

Veteran's Day sleepover at Mimi and Papa's house...They last one before Mimi and Papa sold their home.

She sleeps.
Emmy's impression of Mimi :)
Nick and I had a night in San Francisco with a date at the Symphony!  What an incredible experience it was!  Thank you Grammy and Poppy for watching the kiddos!

He sleeps.
Thanksgiving feast in Emmy's class...Mrs. Dungan taught them a song to the tune of "Oh what a beautiful morning" from the musical Oklahoma: "Oh what a happy Thanksgiving! Oh what a ha-appy day!  We'll eat some pie and some turkey!  Happy Thanksgiving today!"  It was stuck in all of our heads for days. :-P  Luckily, Mrs. Dungan doesn't require much in the way of parent volunteers, but even still, I haven't been able to because siblings aren't allowed to come, and, well, the twins and I are a package deal.  So I guilt-tripped myself into signing up to make the turkey, and I'm pretty sure I've met my volunteering requirement for the year now.

Stanford vs. Cal football game!!!  My most favorite Stanford memories are with the family at football games!  It is positively electric in the stadium and the kids are total fanatics!  We are super bummed that the season is over and next year we'll have to buy season passes (as opposed to the free student tickets all 6 of us have been enjoying!)
We got to sit in the disabled seats on the Cal side of the stadium, which would only be more perfect if they were on the Stanford side.  Seriously.  The kids had room to wiggle around without disturbing anyone and we had both concessions and a bathroom a stones throw from our seat.  The very best part, though, was we sat right behind the Cal band!  The were PHENOMENAL!!! At one point, James was shirtless, standing on the railing waving his little towel yelling "Go 'Tanford!!"  Amazing Memory!

Sis fell asleep on Nick's shoulders on the walk home from the game.
This picture pretty much sums up our one-bathroom apartment issues.  The only stipulations Emmy has in our next home is that it has more potties.

Last picture of Emmy's smile of baby teeth!
Daddy yanked it out!

Kris and JP put together an amazing Veteran's Day presentation at Andy, Clairey, and my mom's school.  The kids and I made it out for their last one...
Cousin Dog pile on Mimi's carpet :-P
James sitting next to Daddy's picture in the helicopter.
Kris had asked the students to bring in photos of their family members who were veterans, turns out, our family was the majority of representatives.

Sleepover at Mimi and Papa's house afterwards.  Turns out, it was the last sleepover we'd have there, as they've since sold it and purchased a smaller home in Clayton.  That's a whole other post, though!

Playing in the leaves at the park.
Sweet girls taking a break from the playground so Clairey could do Emmy's hair.

James helping Daddy build some shelves for Ms. Bridie and Mr. Dave.

Sneaky fox, Julia.
These two got into my mascara.  Looking a little sheepish.

My Juju took it on herself to wipe yogurt off of Jamesy's face.

They drew pictures of Auntie Kristi and then wanted me to show her...

Hannah commandeered my phone and took this picture...I love it.  I want to always remember snuggling my Bubby.

A bunch of crazies!

Testing out Mimi and Papa's swing in their new backyard.

I was so glad to have my phone nearby to snap this gem...Emmy led them in marching to the car one morning.  So funny. :)
Nick holding our three littles while walking down the stadium steps at the football game.  My only thought looking at this photo is: Why am I taking this photo instead of grabbing kids??
