We celebrated James and Julia's 6th birthday a little differently this year; they each had a special family date. Julia got to go to the American Girl doll store for a hairstyling class and to pick out some goodies for her new doll. We finished up with a special lunch at the Stanford Shopping Center with Daddy and James. For James, our boy-turned-fish, we spent the day at the beach playing and picnicking (before we had to get home to take Julia to urgent care for what turned out to be strep throat.) Never a dull moment!
